New Chester Bus Interchange

Left the Old Bus Exchange Princess Street on Sunday bound for London. Came back to the new Chester Bus Interchange at Gorse Stacks on Wednesday evening. The National Express coach bound for Liverpool pulled in sharply from the ring road just before St Anne Street into the first open stand 'N'. There was plenty of room on the platform but the bus station was unfinished in parts and they had yet to put the benches down along the outside wall.

'To manage 156 buses per hour, the Interchange includes 13 bus stands with information screens providing passengers with live feed information regarding arrival times.
The comfort of passengers has been a priority, a local barista will provide hot drinks and snacks, and there will be free Wifi, a newsagent, information desk and public toilets with changing facilities.'
